My husband had golfer's elbow and came to Ohana Acupuncture several months ago after 3 treatments (about 1 month), his symptoms went away and has not reoccurred! We were amazed.

Recently, my 13 year old son, Ryan, who plays Club soccer, developed Oshgood Schlatter's. His knee was so painful that it was really affecting his play. Our western doctors said to ice it and rest it as much as possible after puberty finishes, it will go away.

We decided to take Ryan to try acupuncture and after 1 session, the swelling went down. Then after the second session, his symptoms decreased even more. After his 3rd treatment, his knee didn't hurt after practice and he just two games a few days ago and his knee didn't bother him. I can't believe it!

These 3 treatments took place over just 2 weeks time!!

Ryan said acupuncture didn't really hurt the first time, but just seeing the needles made him feel little dizzy at first. But after he got used to it, it didn't bother him at all. The second and third treatments didn't even phase him.

There certainly must be something to this over 2,000 year old technique. I am thrilled to have found something that is natural and holistic. I was totally skeptical as I didn't understand it, but I am so glad we tried it. I still don't really understand how it works, but Ryan's symptoms have decreased and he was able to play 2 games back to back without any pain!!!

We go for our 4th treatment tomorrow. I really like Dr. Elisa. She is very patient and explains everything very thoroughly and does not rush you. She makes Ryan feel comfortable and is very friendly and kind. 

I highly recommend trying acupuncture with Dr. Elisa.
